Note: Jan Ritsema is a Dutch theatre director active in the 1990s. He established “Performing Arts Forum” (an artists-run alternative residency space) in Heims since 2006. PAF comprises art practitioners and theorists who substantially share the property and organize themselves as well as the residency program. Every year, over 800 artists of all sorts from around the world come here to work, exchange and sustain this sharing platform of the participants. The interview with the founder of PAF is conducted by Chan, Yu-chieh on the subjects such as “precarization” or "self organization" as artist's practice.
