ISSUE 23 : Space As Archive II
Burn the Archive and Activate Your Own Space
燃燒檔案,啟動我們自己的空間
November 25th, 2015Type: Art Production
Author: Chan, Yu-chieh Editor: Rikey Tenn
Note: Hito Steyerl uses "post-presentational" in service of experimenting with new modes of politics and aesthetics. Today, anyone can become a star, no longer to identify oneself with the screen hero or heroine, but to perform on screen & being involved in the production and circulation of the images by oneself. In the background of the concept "Post-Representaion", the author articulates the topic of "enabling (archive) files," from the space of possible media objects, to the self-liberation in art practice, to the self-organization of the artist-run space (or its social engagement).
