Nusantara Archive 08: Paririmbon Investasi, 2019 (CH/EN)
《群島資料庫08:超自然投資手冊》(2019年,中/英雙語)
November 30th, 2019TYPE: Publication

Introduction:

In early 2019, NML Residency & Nusantara Archive Project is glad to invite Indonesian artist Ismal Muntaha to Taiwan. He had first visited Jatiwangi with “Sunday Screen” in 2009. They founded the annual “Video Village Festival” with Jatiwangi Art Factory (Jaf). He lives in Jatiwangi now and works with his partner Bunga Siagian – both of them are members of Badan Kajian Pertanahan (Land Affair Study Agency). In this project, researcher Fiona Cheng exchanged with him in the extensive conversation, trying to understand his philosophy in living with Jatiwangi’s debate on the developmentalism, cultural landscape, and other non-dual narratives in this city.
