Note: FX Harsono, born in 1949, was one of the earliest members of the Gerakan Seni Rupa Baru Indonesia (Indonesia New Art Movement) that helped give birth to contemporary art in Indonesia from 1975. During the years of the Suharto regime, he has participated in researched-based art projects and worked in cooperation with NGOs. He's also produced a great many works relating to his origins and identity as a Chinese Indonesian, with his Chinese name written as 胡丰文. The interview mentioned the project, EXI(S)T, which is collaborated with the alternative space, Dia.Lo.Gue. The project focuses on young artists and FX Harsono’s recent engagement. In February, 2017, He is invited by MOCA Taipei for the exhibition Rosa's Wound (2/18-4/9), when the interview was conducted by No Man's Land at OCAC Taipei.
